Do you understand the frustration among people who want to make this work and who want to defend the system?

yes we understand (sure...). Two kinds of backlogs:
1) Processing backlogs, due to the surge and other issues. We try to provide services timely, we understand our responsibility (no info as to what is being done and how this will change in the future)
2) Limitations due to law: (PDs). Demands is greater than the visa numbers (China, India, Mexico, Philipine: You are screwed here!) => 20 years or more of waiting.

Don't get me wrong. There are so many good lawyers. I have talked to few of them who are reputed and didn't even charge me for my first call. Here in CA, my wife was in a very similar situation and to complicate matters we had her last name changed to married one in passport since last entry in US. So we were trying to get the driver's license to reflect the name change. Initially the DMV refused saying they need I-94.
So we had the old/new passport, the old H4 approval notice in maiden name and new one in married name and I-94 at the bottom of the H4 approval notice. I then realized that we could use the I-94 at the bottom of H4, and it worked. We got the DL in new name within 1 week of applying.
Just hang on until you get the new approval notices and make sure you carry the original (they should make a photocopy and return original) H4 along with the I-94 on it when you visit DMV.

As far as I know, I am pretty aggressive in investment and I am getting @15% right now.. which too in a very unconventional ways.. by investing in forex and start ups with a risk of loosing nearly 80% of the investment in a day. when you 100K-200K and get returns like 100k.. dude that 100%-50% investment.. please let me know where can I do that.

If you have made a contribution and posted on this thread or on the thread we had before your name should be on the list. We do not have an automatic way of updating this list once someone had made a contribution through paypal at this time. Every night I go through this thread, update numbers and names. I could have made a manual error and missed some names but once people have brought that to my attention I have been double checking and responding back to them. I know I am behind on verifying one or two contributions but I will catch up. I work long hours,take classes and I live 80 miles away from where I work. I wish I had more than 24 hours in my day. If you could help us with maintaining an accurate list that would be awesome.

thanks! thats encouraging..they already gave us a conditional approval last week asking for some documents, which I sent immediately. They didn't even open my documents for a week, and then the underwriter came back asking for some more things including this I94..these people are crazy! Today's my deadline and i still haven't heard anything

3) we do not need internecine fights, that digress's from our mission.

simply decide a course of action... like send out letters or the big-as calculator brother singhsa3 suggested and let them ship it out individually
Most people here just want to discuss but when it comes to action - you will notice that they would not even give out their proper name to IV while registering - so mobilizing is not as easy as discussing it here.
Discussion forums are good because ideas emerge here - ideas are needed for execution and discussing pressing issues must lead us towards a path to execution.
The question is - can all those who do that talk actually walk the talk?
